I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
